There are many restaurants, bars and interesting markets and shops in many of the towns and smaller villages along this coast.
Trips to some of the islands (Hvar, Brac & Korcula) can easily be made by cheap ferries leaving from nearby towns - you can even take your car! Or there are many day trips offerd by small private operators.
There are many interesting towns and cities to visit in Croatia. Dubrovnik (2.5 hours drive) a beautiful medieval city is worth doing, though smaller but equally impressive are the towns of Korcula (by ferry from Drvenik, 15km away) and Trogir (near Split - a must for a few hours if you have time left before your flight home - its only 10 minutes from Split airport). |
